Street’s journey from crafter to entrepreneur was a long highway. She turned intrigued about stitching right after seeing her neighbor’s grandma sewing in her basement when she was 8.

“Seeing her make anything out of a sheet of cloth fascinated me,” Road, 40, claimed.

Her loved ones continued to foster her interest in sewing, giving her outgrown garments to make new matters out of. She credits her “amazing” household economics instructor, Mrs. Pechlinburg, as becoming instrumental “bursting my curiosity (in stitching) broad open.”
