Amazon Prime Video Top 10 Shows and Movies: New and Popular Today, August 31
Javon “Wanna” Walton and Sylvester Stallone, Samaritan
Amazon Studios
Sylvester Stallone’s superhero movie Samaritan is again on top of Amazon Prime Video’s top 10 movies and shows list on Wednesday, Aug. 31, right where it’s been all week. In fact, nothing much has changed since yesterday, with Reacher overtaking Sandra Bullock’s The Lost City being the only move on the list. But that all changes soon when The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power not only has a chance to become No. 1, it has a chance to become Prime Video’s biggest show of all time. Because Rings of Power comes out tomorrow evening, expect it to make the list come Friday, and expect Amazon to trumpet its success, too. Reviews are out, and they’re impressive.
The top 10 movies and shows on Prime Video are listed below, but we’re not just listing them; we’re also putting our opinions on there to help you figure out which are worth watching. And to help you plan what you’ll watch next, we’ve added the new shows and movies coming to Prime Video, too.
