“Taylor Swift” was on Saturday Night Live and performed really well. She was in eight skits, playing everything from a prison gang-banger to the friend of a bride at a wedding.

“You might be expecting me to say something about Kanye and how he ran up on the stage at the VMAs,” she sang. “But there’s nothing more to say, ’cause everything’s OK. I’ve got security lining the stage.”

She also referenced her nasty breakup with Joe Jonas:

Kanye West died?

“Kanye West” is dead? Not unless you count the metaphorical death he suffered to all country music fans at the 2009 VMA’s. The trouble is that another fake celebrity death rumor is making its way around the internet, and people are buying what someone is selling. There are a couple of rumors about where this first rumor got started as well, including a post on Yahoo Answers and a internet tabloid posting. The truth though, is that there is no truth to the rumors of a Kanye West death, and if there were, you can bet that web sites like TMZ would be jumping all over this story.

Despite the thought of Kanye West being dead coming as a far-fetched news story, it is causing quite a stir over at Twitter, where many users have taken to saying their piece about it. Some users are questioning whether it is true, and some are actually cheering that thought that he could be dead after all the recent shenanigans he has pulled in sight of the press. This has led to the phrase “RIP Kanye West” becoming one of the most popular searches as well as one of the post popular posts on the Twitter Universe.

Kanye West is not dead, so don’t buy into the rumors right now, even if it seems like something that could be true. Some people will go to any lengths to start a rumor about a celebrity right now, and this is one that can be put to bed.

One of the coolest things about Drake’s “Successful” video – which premiered late last month – was that it didn’t really feel like a Drake video. Sure, he (and Trey Songz) are featured prominently throughout, but the clip is dark and brooding, a stylized, noir-ish nightscape that (like the song itself) takes most of the celebratory tenets of R&B videos and made them look, well, decidedly less fun. In fact, “Successful” is seriously somber, to the point where it borders on dark, a rather bold and artsy move for a guy tipped by pretty much everyone to be the next big thing.

With a lineup like that, a performance clip is really the only way to go, and that’s what’s been done here: The real thrill is seeing Wayne, West, Em and Drake in the same music video! This is a blockbuster of the highest order, a big-budget, big-explosion event, and fans (especially those who weren’t fans of “Successful”) will lap it up.

Music Video: Drake – Best I ever had

Check out the new video from “Drake” entitled “Best I Ever Had”. The music clip was directed by Kanye West and surprisingly, I’m not impressed. Very lackluster. Come on Drake & Kanye, y’all know this isn’t up to par!

In related news, Drake’s debut album, “Thank Me Later” will be in stores later this year. In a recent interview with MTV, Drake confirmed rumors that he signed to Lil Wayne’s Yung Money record label.
