Mary J. Blige – The One Lyrics
1:
Them other girls you dun been with
None of them got nothin’ on me
Aint got my style
They aint got nothin on me, nothin on me
Way I walk, way I talk, my swagga
Look around every dude wanna have her
I aint sayin that I’m the best, but I’m the best

Biffy Clyro – That Golden Rule Lyrics
Son of Henry, I’m the first in line
To the throne, smell my mustard gas
I slash swords through your wooden spine
Well it cut my heart and it blew my head
We made love at the side of the road
Reflex, you better know this flows fast
This river is particularly sinister
Close your eyes and take my hand

Movie ‘Taking Woodstock’ Expertly Crafted, Yet Uninvolving

I’ve always found Ang Lee movies a little distant for me. It’s like they’re so careful, there’s no energy. I get that they’re art films, but even Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was like the most by the book martial arts epic. So “Taking Woodstock” is the most expertly crafted, yet mostly uninvolving, historical music movie.
Review: Taking Woodstock
It’s particularly noticeable because this is supposed to be a comedy, only when the jokes are calculated, they just feel like an exercise. Here’s the typical Jewish mother. Now we’re referencing the mother from before. Look what crazy shenanigans they’re up to now, and oh, what a crazy drama troupe is living in the barn. Charging for water is funny because they really do that now!
It’s the basic “putting on a show” story with all the hurdles to overcome, getting everyone together, securing the locations and permits, etc. All that’s missing are some Muppets. There’s some good free spirit nudity though, and this is healthy ‘60s bush.
The style mimics the split-screen, grainy 8mm look of the Taking Woodstock documentary film. It’s as effective in the drama as the comic book panels of Hulk were. There are some trippy effects for drug induced scenes.
You never see the concert but that part’s accurate. I mean, how many Woodstock attendees talk about the music? The farmland will look great on Blu Ray though.
Review: The Cove

Built like a heist film with the added subconscious tension that the stakes are real and danger is actually imminent, “The Cove” sneaks in you into a small and seemingly innocent Japanese fishing village plastered with art and propaganda that makes it obvious that the small village of Tajii in fact loves whales and dolphins…
The reality is however that the small village of Tajii is actually the focal point of a dolphin capture and trade organization that supplies most of the dolphinariums worldwide with the next cute swimming and flipping tourist money trap capitalizing on public dolphin interest established by Flipper in the 1960s.
Unless you are an animal rights activist you’re probably wondering why you care that dolphins are being captured and put in aquariums. While that issue is tackled in this Oceans 11-esque documentary and upon seeing the facts you may change your mind on if these dolphins are really happy in their 5000 gallon homes away from home, it is far from the main and most disturbing issue you will discover in your visit to “The Cove”. There is no Hollywood blood in the water special effects magic happening here. You will witness one of the most horrific and disturbing annual events in the world — The herding of thousands of dolphins into a small cove where they are brutally killed in what could aptly be called a massacre. You may not be an activist today but you will walk out of this film angry, possibly crying and with a vastly changed worldview on the cruelty towards animals.
The film is directed by National Geographic photographer Louie Psiohyos and is just as tense and gripping as watching the predator chase it’s prey in Africa. The predator this time is Louie’s crack team of specialists recruited specifically to breach the tight security of this small cove in Tajii. The prey is the tightly guarded secret of what really goes on in the cove despite Japan’s global stance on the “ethical” and “humane” fishing of cetaceans in Japanese waters. Strangely enough the whole movement is started and motivated by the first dolphin trainer and 7 year trainer of the dolphins used for the 1960s show Flipper turned activist Richard O’Barry. Ric can’t show his face in town without being questioned by undercover police and followed everywhere by one to two cars at all times of day. His stance against dolphin capture and cruelty is well known.

“Nicolas Cage” is set to star in “Drive Angry”, a 3D revenge action film that Patrick Lussier is directing for Nu Image/Millenium Films.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film was written by Lussier and Todd Farmer, and centers on a man (Nicolas Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.
Production begins in April in Louisiana.
Sweet Debra Messing’s Still Got It

At least, that’s what “Debra Messing” wants us to think, judging from this InStyle photoshoot. Check out the pictures and ask yourself: is this a MILF? I’m not sure. I liked Sexy Debra Messing on Will and Grace and all, and she certainly isn’t a chick you’d kick out of bed, but how much work would you go to to get her in there in the first place?..
I’m not sure I’m convinced. A tip, Debra Messing: drop some of the roses and go for a push-up bra. With a low-cut top. Cleavage is very persuasive

Chris Brown on Larry King Video…Yes, you read the headline right, and we’re not lying. He said this. Both parts.
Fans and celebrity gossip readers everywhere were shocked to hear that R&B star “Chris Brown“ pummeled girlfriend “Rihanna“ senseless back in February.
Chris Brown was also shocked to learn this.
That is, if his first public comments on the situation since being given five years probation last week are to be believed in his softball Q&A with Larry King.
Flanked by mom Joyce Hawkins and attorney Mark Geragos during the interview, airing this week, Brown said he had no recollection of the bloody fight.

“Kim Kardashian“ has really been on the go this weekend, looking good, and I’ve got the photos to prove it…
The first part of this photo set shows Kim Kardashian at the Anastasia Salon in Beverly Hills. And Man, does she look good in that short black skirt and white top! I always thought Kim Kardashian was a looker, but recently she has taken her game to a whole new level. Part of it may be her new hair style. I’m totally digging it. Kim Kardashian also stopped by Millions of Milkshakes in LA an enjoyed herself a cool, sweet treat. So damn, “Kim Kardashian” has a good looking milkshake!

There have also been some updates about this news since the announcement. During a conference call, it was announced that all deals for characters currently set up at other studios would stay in place under the terms currently set forth by Marvel and the studio in question. Building on its strategy of delivering quality branded content to people around the world, The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) has agreed to acquire Marvel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:MVL) in a stock and cash transaction, the companies announced today.
Under the terms of the agreement and based on the closing price of Disney on August 28, 2009, Marvel shareholders would receive a total of $30 per share in cash plus approximately 0.745 Disney shares for each Marvel share they own.
